The Countdown begins......

Wow! It's official I have about one week left before I enter the MTC. I can hardly believe it. It seems like just yesterday it was July and I had just received my mission call. Now I am frantically trying to figure out what I have left to buy and what I need to do before I leave (Like trying to get loan payments postponed and get some missionary pics taken, I know last minute) Anyway, this next week is going to be busy. Meanwhile somewhere in there I need to prepare my talk for Sunday. I'm kinda nervous about it. I have never been the main speaker before. Hopefully I can think of enough things to say : ) Wish me luck, I'm going to need it.

Fair, Symphonies, Movies....what fun!!

Things have been so crazy around here lately. Time just seems to be flying by. I can't believe that in a little over a month I will be leaving on my mission. I have bought half of the clothes I need and still need to find time to finish. This past month has been so fun. We were able to go to the fair. Tiger Ears, Funnel Cakes, Corn on the cobb yummy!! The main reason we came down was because my mom sang with Lyle Albertson's band on the free stage. It was fun see her up their having a good time. I never get tired of hearing her sing, and I dread the day that she won't be able to play the guitar anymore.

Then this past Saturday Maggie and I went to the Idaho Falls Symphony in the Park. It was held at Freeman Park. It was alot of fun. They started with a big band and there were some couples swing dancing. Then the symphony came on a played some cool songs. Thanks Maggie for coming with me. It was fun to sit and talk and catch up.
Today was my last day of work at Mountain View. I will surely miss it. I met somewonderful people there and have learned from them imensely. I decided to leave early so that I can work in spud harvest and then have some time for myself to finish getting ready for my mission. As a going away party we went and had lunch at Texas Roadhouse and then went and watched Julie and Julia I loved it! It made me want to go home and cook something amazing! It was a great day and I was sad to see it end. Here is a picture of me with my boss Lisa and my coworker and good friend Jewel.

Night at the Movies!!

This past Friday Diana and I decided to go out to eat and see a movie. We ate at Red Robin which was delicious and then we left to go get our seats at the movie. We went and saw the newest Harry Potter movie Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince. I really liked it.The characters are older and I feel like they have all become better actors. It was great. Although it wasn't as good as the book, but nothing ever is. If anyone needs a buddy to go see it with I would be more than willing, I am already planning on seeing it again with my parents. Happy Watching!!

P.S. Last week I turned in my mission papers!! The countdown begins as I wait for my call.(Geri I know I still haven't called you. Sorry.)

A Miracle

Today is a beautiful day! The sun is shining and I am happy. Happy Mother's day to all the mothers. I know that I am truly grateful for my mom. This last week I have witnessed a miracle. Since I am now home for the summer I needed to find a job. So after putting off looking for about a week I went to work. I went and got my hair done with plans to hand out my resume afterwards. When I went to turn in my resume to various business' I realized that there was a mistake on them that needed to be fixed. This made me really frustrated another day of job hunting ruined. I was still hopeful that I would find a job, but lets face it jobs are scarce right now. Anyway I got home and I jumped on the computer to fix my mistake, I decided to check my email and there was an email from my old boss from last summer offering me a job. I was so happy I ran in and told my mom. Needless to say I started work the next day and I already feel at home at my old/new job. Lisa,my boss, told me she was feeling frustrated and overwhelmed with work when she was scrolling through old emails and came across mine, and she knew that I could help her out. I firmly believe that it was a blessing from Heavenly Father that she was looking at her email when she did. I am so grateful for all my blessings. So once again I am working at Mountain View Hospital in Idaho Falls as an assistant in administration. Its going to be a great summer!!

Where has April gone?

I can't beleive that we are already in the last week of April. I apologize for the lack of posts but it has been crazy. Hopefully this won't be too long, but I thought I would take the time to tell of some of my adventures. Finals are finallly over. YAY!!!! It was such a big relief. As a celebration me and some friends decided to go dumster diving ( this is when we go to krispy cream, and little ceasears after closing and see if they have thrown anything out) Last semester we did this and had great success.
Sadly we found nothing at Krispy Kreme I think they finally realized what was happening, but we did find some pizza at Little Cesears. I was scared of it...who knew how old it was? Well we took it home anyway and after decided that it was best not to eat it we........had a pizza fight.

It was so much fun. It was a good thing we didn't eat the pizza because it was so hard that it didn't even break when we threw it at eachother. This is a picture of Ben throwing a piece at Mason. It gave us all a good laugh. What a fun way to ends finals. On thurdsay night we hiked up to some hot springs in Spanish Fork. I had a good time. Sadly I did not get any pics because it was really dark and my camera has issues with night pictures. Oh well, we all smelled like sulfur when we got home. YUCK! I finally came home this past weekend and it feels wonderful. I was only home for about a day then we headed up to Montana to see Lacey and the kids.

Tylin and Tanner are both getting so big. I didn't want to leave. I love those kids. They brought a smile to my face. Well I am now once again at home. Now all I have to do is find a job.
